Datalab implemented FiveTran for data extraction, which proved to be cost-effective and significantly enhanced the speed of data extraction. Automating data integration, enabled FreshGround to gather data from their source system seamlessly, reducing the need for manual coding and maintenance. This automation not only ensured low costs but also that the data was current and accurate, facilitating timely decision-making. Additionally, Azure SQL Server was chosen for the data warehouse due to its cost-effectiveness and compatibility with FreshGround's existing hybrid infrastructure, providing a scalable and efficient platform for managing large volumes of data.

Power BI was selected for its powerful data visualization and reporting capabilities, allowing FreshGround to create interactive dashboards and reports for near real-time insights. This enabled the team to quickly analyse data, identify trends, monitor performance, and make informed decisions. Furthermore, the introduction of the Reporting Hub centralized client-facing reports, improving external communication by providing clients with access to detailed and up-to-date information.
