The founders, Pieter and Douglas, met while working together as consultants on a data warehouse project in 2007. After years of longing to deliver consulting better, Datalab was born providing an alternative, trusted and agile implementation experience for data and analytics projects.

In 2015 Reza joined Datalab on the quest to be the best (not biggest) data analytics company the world has ever seen.

From 2015 to 2020 we did a deep dive into the Healthcare industry to help solve the unique challenges arising from the growing needs of large data volumes in the pathology laboratory sector.

In 2021 the business pivoted again to focus on the delivery of modern cloud-based data architectures for clients in all industries.
